A Yield Of Harvest (Picture Poem)

After the endless day’s of summer
To the chilly cool night of fall.
Soon to be a frost in the harvest skies
For the Lord to make his call

Bountiful produce from this season
for our harvest filed winter need’s
We’ll dress the table up with a bouquet
Of flowers and apple pies yes indeed

The county fair is on the town square
Where blue ribbons are a treat
The spring seeding for planting time
Of vegetable there’s harvest wheat

An old milk can make’s a display for
The dried corn of each fruitful crop
As a golden moon to shine up on earth
Abundance is measure by raindrops
