A shy old maid was going on her frist date.
Her mother said be in at ten do not be late.

Unlace foggy morning sun
Dampen thristy earth

"Summer Day" Tanka Poem
Falling drop's of rain
Cooling dog day of summer
Champagne bubbling waves
Flip flops echoes sandy shore
Rainbow casting shade's of color

"Child of Mine"
A shadow box is in the windows of my heart
In a picture of promises of us never being apart.
Our moments of sharing from a fruitful harvest
A spring love is when all the robins goes to nest.
A wondering jew circles a vine around my two feet
When my child likes to climb and play its her treat.
With her curly brown hair she blossoms in the sun
There's labor on the farm and work to be done.
A basket of apples for cooking to make some pies
At times there's tears of joy that makes me cry.
This child of mine is a true blessing in my world
A wonderful gift the Lord has given my little girl.
