To Remember

My Mother smiling as we stroll out
in the garden that she did love.
She would look over her flowers of
prize roses as they took in the sun.
Often she would phone a friend to visit
for iced tea enjoy her company in the afternoon.
The next door neighbor's son would bounce
a ball he'd climb the fence whistling a tune.
