Missing You

Mother's Day

Missing you is like a bear wanting the
Taste of sweet honey on a winter day.
If there was no spring flowers to bloom or
If all the pretty robins had flown away.

Missing you through rainy weather
When each drop is falling on my face.
There the love of an angel flying
Her voice is calling with wings of lace.

Missing you when the roses open up
To its full beauty so real that I can see.
You touch the morning dew as it falls
It mists the earth through a silky breeze.

Missing you when the wild berries ripen
Upon the thorny vines in summer sun.
You pull at my heart strings with tugs
In life's miricle we had our share of fun.
