Tiny Bud

A gift of nature has a perfect touch
To the world outside
From the winter months into the
yesterdays the rose had to hide

Adorn, secretly a rose to unfold
Beneath a morning sun
God’s art of décor in it’s beauty
From a tiny bud when it begun

A nightly halo moon traces a sweet
Fragrance in thirst of morning dew
The roses are glowing in blossoms
On a vine where unique petals grew

The roses will fade at summers end
Into dust for the soil of spring
To make a new amend after winter
Months await for the birds to sing

The lacey petals are like the waves
Of the sea abiding together in peace
Lowering near the earth is a breeze
Throwing departing petals set at ease 2-18-08
