Remembering Easter
The flowering trees there was the lovely
Lilies in bloom
Sunday church service dressed in our best
Dinner at moon
Easter eggs colored in beautiful rainbow
Crape paper to dye
Moma said be thankful this Easter we know
Why Christ had to die
Our school took us kids to the park before
Easter for the egg hunt
The winner receive a prize for most eggs
We was a happy bunch
Our Easter attire was wearing of flours sack
And sew by moma hands
She said do not think of what their made from
In our heart we feel so grand
Living on the farm seem real poor we had live
Bunnies at Easter time
These thoughts never wavier from my mind
To remember Easter is just fine
